Self-awareness = Personal Competence which leads to authentic empathy & compassion.
Folks try to do the work by focusing on saving others, gaining merit & having pity on those with less privilege.
Achieving equitable outcomes starts with naming emotions, recognizing triggers, and understanding perspective.
